Do you offer white-glove service with minimal mess?
We always aim to leave the space cleaner than we found it. We use drop cloths, clean up thoroughly, and respect your home.
Can you complete work in stages to fit my budget?
I'm happy to work within your budget and stage projects accordingly. Keep in mind that staging may add slightly to the overall cost due to multiple trips, but we prioritize transparency.
Can I text instead of calling?
Texting is actually preferred. Send a message to 512-777-1133 and Matt will get back to you as soon as he can — usually the same day.
Do you provide digital invoices?
Yes, digital invoices and detailed records are available for all projects.
Can you remove your shoes when working in my home?
We carry shoe covers on the truck. For jobs requiring frequent indoor/outdoor trips or ladder work where bare feet aren't safe, we'll always use covers when coming inside.
How do you price your work?
All work is priced by the project — not by the hour. After discussing your project, we give you a firm price up front. No open-ended estimates, no surprise invoices at the end.
What areas do you serve?
SteadyHandyman serves Austin and surrounding areas within approximately 20 miles — including Cedar Park, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Buda, Kyle, Manor, and the full Austin metro. If you're not sure whether your area is covered, text and Matt will confirm.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and credit or debit card. For large projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
How quickly can you respond or schedule?
Matt typically responds the same day, often within a few hours. Scheduling depends on current workload, but most jobs can be booked within a few days. For urgent needs, text directly to check availability.
